The LSQ5 is used as a welding power source for robotic and automated welding systems, supporting multiple MIG/MAG, pulse, microMIG, TIG and dual-wire processes.
It uses Direct Control Technology (DCT), which controls the switching transistors according to the actual requirements of the welding process rather than using a fixed clock frequency.
The LSQ5 provides 420 A at 60% duty cycle and 325 A at 100% duty cycle at 40°C. Its supply voltage is switchable between 3 × 400 V and 3 × 480 V.
