The carbonator consists of a carbonation tank, piston pump and an electrical control panel. It operates on the film flow principle where a fine film of liquid flows over specially designed plates. During this process, the liquid is exposed to carbon dioxide gas at carbonation pressure, allowing it to absorb COâ‚‚ effectively. By the time the liquid reaches the bottom of the carbonation chamber, it becomes fully saturated. The system includes an adjustable nozzle to control the flow rate and a liquid level gauge glass assembly with an electronic level control probe. The control panel houses HP and LP gas regulators with indicator gauges along with a complete electrical system including built-in alarm systems, pressure controllers and temperature indicators. The carbonated product is supplied from the carbonator to the filler through stainless steel pipelines.
