The Apex-HD Industrial Piston Rod is a high-strength mechanical shaft that connects the internal piston head to external working parts. This component is a mechanical necessity for converting air or fluid pressure into physical work; without a rigid and perfectly straight rod, a system would suffer from seal failure and rod deflection. Manufactured from CK45 or EN8 Carbon Steel and finished with a Hard Chrome Plating, these rods are engineered for extreme durability. The chrome surface (hardened to 850-1100 HV) provides a mirror-smooth finish that protects the dynamic seals in the cylinder head while resisting rust and chemical corrosion. These are core components in Zion Air Compressors and Apex-HP Pneumatic Pumps.
