Description

The Apex-HD Conveyor Piston is a specialized linear actuator designed for high-cycle automation. Unlike standard air cylinders, conveyor pistons are often reinforced with Internal Shock Absorbers and heavy-duty Guide Rods to withstand the lateral impact of products hitting them while the conveyor is moving. When a sensor detects a specific item, the piston extends to either "stop" the item for inspection/processing or "push" it onto a secondary diverted path. Manufactured from Hard-Anodized Aluminum, these pistons are built to survive millions of rapid strokes in dust-heavy environments like packaging plants or distribution centers.
