Will the metal stairs become slippery during rain?
No. We use Chequered Plates or diamond-patterned MS sheets for the treads. The raised patterns provide excellent friction and grip, making them safe for use even when wet.
How do you prevent the staircase from rusting since it is installed outdoors?
We use a 3-stage coating process: thorough surface cleaning, a high-performance Zinc-rich Epoxy Primer, and a final coat of PU (Polyurethane) Paint. For coastal areas, we also offer Hot-Dip Galvanizing for extreme rust protection.
Does the staircase produce a lot of noise when someone walks on it?
To minimize noise, we ensure the structural members are rigid and use thicker MS plates. For further noise reduction, we can provide optional rubber padding or suggest a thin concrete infill on the treads.
Can it be installed on an existing building without major civil work?
Yes. One of the main advantages of an MS staircase is that it is a Dry Construction. We use anchor bolts to fix it to your existing RCC beams and floor slabs, requiring minimal masonry work.
Is the handrail height safe for children?
Absolutely. We follow standard safety norms, maintaining a handrail height of 900mm to 1000mm. We also place vertical balusters at close intervals (4–5 inches) to ensure children cannot slip through.
