Welfit Exports

The first Company in the group was established in the year 1970 named “WELFIT GARMENTS MANUFACTURING CO.”, Kolkata, starting business with School Uniforms & Industrial Garments such as Hospital Aprons & Kitchen Aprons with the brand name "WELFIT". With expiry of time WELFIT has emerged as one of the leading manufacturers of school uniforms & supplying these items throughout the country. In the year 1990, added another feather in its cap i.e. started manufacturing garments for born babies and baby frocks under the brand name "INFANT" which is also very well known in the domestic as well as international markets.

In the year 1992 another company named as WELFIT INTERNATIONAL started for manufacturing fancy readymade garments for boys & girls both in various designs, colors, sizes & patterns with fine knitted fabrics as well as woven fabrics for the age group of 0 to 14/15 years and T-shirts for all ages with brand name as °KIDS CARE ". Our commitment to the quality, finishing, designing etc. has earned very good name in domestic as well as international market.

In the last quarter of 1998, WELFIT thought of starting its two export division & worked in this direction and started exporting garments to Middle East countries. In the beginning of the year 2000, another company named as WELFIT EXPORTS was promoted exclusively for exporting readymade garments. The Company widen their feather from one country to another i.e. U.K., Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman & Dubai. Now the Company is in expansion mood and discussion are in progress with Italian, USA and Canadian buyers.

The present production capacity of the group is 150000 pcs (basic) per month. We have in-house facilities of cutting, stitching, ironing and packing etc. spread over an area of more than 15000 Sq. Ft.
