Description

The Voltech FLP/WP Star Delta Starter is a heavy-duty motor control system designed for starting large three-phase induction motors safely in hazardous industrial environments. The starter uses the star-delta starting method, which initially connects the motor windings in star configuration to reduce starting current and then automatically switches to delta configuration for normal operation.The enclosure is manufactured using cast aluminium alloy (LM6) to provide high mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and long service life. The flameproof construction prevents internal sparks from igniting explosive gases or vapours in hazardous areas.
