It captures plantar pressure through a semi-quantitative footprint mat that visually represents pressure distribution using grey scale. The mat helps identify areas at high risk for ulceration, detect Charcot arthropathy, and assess the arch of the foot. The darker areas on the footprint indicate higher pressure.
