Greases are solid and pasty lubricants processed from fatty acid soaps and mineral lubricating oils. These greases are essential for ball, roller, conveyor bearings provides lubrication to minimize abrasion and smooth running. Basically there are three types of soaps available in processing of greases. Sodium, Calcium and Lithium are basic chemicals of soap formation. Though Sodium greases can withstand high temperature conditions but cannot withstand water or they are easily soluble in water.
