This maleic anhydride is an organic compound with the formula C4H2O3. This is colorless in pure state or sometimes white solid with an acrid odor. Manufactured by the oxidation of benzene or other aromatic compounds, these maleic anhydride  widely used for polyester resins and alkyd resin manufacturing.
