External Treatment: Masonry Foundation  Dig shovel width trenches along the external wall of the building exposing the foundation wall surface upto a depth of 50 cm. Make 30 - 50 cm deep rod holes 15cm apart all along this trench. Pour this premium Chlorpyrifos 20% EC emulsion @1.75 L per running meter. ; Treat the back fill earth, while returning It to the trench with Chlorpyrifos 20% EC emulsion ©0.5 L per running meter, directing the spray towards the wall surface.  Masonry ApronIf there is a concrete or masonry apron around the building, drill 12mm holes as close as possible to the plinth wall, 30cm apart. Pump Terramite TO to soak the soil @ 2.25L per linear meter. Rcc Framed StructureIn case of RCC framed structures with columns and plinth beams and ROC basements, the treatment can start at a depth of 50 cm below ground level. Excavate shovel width trenches exposing the sides of the column and plinth beams upto 30cm (or bottom of the plinth beam) and treat the back-fill earth with Chlorpyrifos 20% EC emulsion while returning it to the trench @7.5L per sq.m of the vertical surface of the structure. Soil Surrounding Pipes, Wastes And ConduitsWherever pipes, wastes and conduits enter the soil, loosen the soil for a distance of 15 cm and a depth of 7.5 cm and thoroughly drench with Chlorpyrifos 20% EC emulsion. Soil Under FloorsDrill 12 mm holes at the junction of floor and walls along the cracks on the floor and along constructional joints at 30cm intervals to reach the soil below. Squirt the emulsion © 1L per hole or till refusal and seal the holes properly. Treatment Of Voids In MasonryDrill holes in the masonry at plinth level at about 45 degree angle and at 30 cm intervals, preferably on both sides of the plinth wall and soak the masonry with Chlorpyrifos 20% EC emulsion as above using pressure pump. Protection Of Wood WorkDrill 6mm holes at downward angle of 45 degree in the wood work at its junction with masonry walls or floors. Squirt the Chlorpyrifos 20% EC emulsion @0.5 L per hole or till refusal and seal the holes properly.
