This corrects the source voltage (utility grid), to an acceptable, usable range. These corrects the incoming line to neutral voltage within a specified input to provide corrected output voltage within the specified tolerance levels of the load. These are robustly built products for providing reliable performance even under extreme voltage fluctuations and to support different kinds of loads. These are provided with trip mechanism to trip the power to the load if incoming voltage is beyond the specified band. Generally, systems are built with input circuit breaker for input protection and output contractor for providing high / low voltage trip.
