Why CED Based Coating?

Cathodic Electro-deposition (CED) is an advanced technique used to coat the surfaces of an object electrically. This method is very durable and offers highest degree of corrosion resistance. It is widely used for coating automobile parts & components with great precision. Just like laying the foundation, any metal surface needs to be prepared for the application of paint layer prior to painting.

The purpose of pre-treatment is to:

• Make the surface free from oil, physical contamination & rust
• Create a surface condition that has superior adhesion to paint

A pre-treatment line consist of following stages:

• Knock off degrease
• Degrease
• Water rinse
• Water rinse
• Activation
• Phosphating
• Water rinse
• Recirculated DI water rinse

If required, it will have circulation, heating and filtration
