The security shear Off nuts has a conical shaped body with a hexagonal nut at the top, this means that it can tightened using a standard spanner. The hexagonal part of the nut shears off at a predetermined torque (because only the cone part is threaded) leaving a tamper resistant cone. The shear nut are designed to suit most application as it is a high security permanent nut fastening.
