Feed Materials:

Soft to medium-hard rock, e.g. limestone and gypsum rock, salt, various type of ash and slag, hard coal, overburden and similar materials.

Mode of Operation:

After entering the cruising radius of the rotor, the feed material is grasped by the beater ledges, flung again the impact rockers and crushed by the repeated impact stress. this produced a largely crack-free final gain with high cubic proportion. Final gain size distribution can be influenced by the setting of the impact rockers towards the crushing radius of the rotor (gap widths) and by the rotor speed. Adjustment of the impact rockers is carried out by a worm drive mechanism. Compensation of wear of the beater ledges and the impact plates is ensured due to the adjustment. In order to prevent possible damages caused by any foreign particles entering the machine, the impact rockers are spring-mounted, i.e. they can avoid any temporary overloads.
