AIG Spiral Wound Gaskets with Inner and Outer Rings are engineered for use in critical applications where both mechanical and chemical resistance are essential. These gaskets are composed of a V-shaped metallic strip wound with a filler material (typically graphite), reinforced with an inner and outer ring made of carbon steel or stainless steel to provide optimal compression and centering.
The outer ring serves as a compression limiter and centering device, while the inner ring reinforces the gasket against inward buckling, especially in high-temperature and high-pressure environments. Ideal for fluctuating conditions involving heat, pressure, and corrosive media.
These gaskets conform to ASME B16.20 standards and are used across several demanding sectors.
