In this system the liquid passes through the wedge wire drum and dirt or solid particles deposits are captured on the screen. Further, the rotation of scraper blades (PTFE/S.S) provided removes the imp-ties on screen when pressure drop reaches a pre-set level. Then backwash-clarifying cycle is initiated because of which the dirt inside the screen flushes to drain in seconds. The entire function takes place without interrupting the main liquid flow.
