These geo tubes are used for stopping Beach erosion control and construction of underwater structures and marine environments. Large armor stone structures are very expensive to build in the marine environment also the availability of good stones in the vicinity of site is also not always there. In many instances, these geotextile tubes structures can easily be constructed using a sand-filled Geo tube and Geo bags. When combined with a dredging project, the tube can provide a beneficial use of the dredged material while reducing the erosive forces of wave impact at a fraction of the cost.
