The glycerine filling protects the measuring system against damping wear in case of pulsating pressures and mechanical vibrations. The measuring system is precision class 1.6 and has overload protection of 1.3 times the maximum load. Pressure gauges with glycerine filling are equipped with a compensating diaphragm. This diaphragm prevents a rise in pressure in the housing due to the temperature volume expansion of the liquid filling, thus avoiding the indicated errors.
