Drive to Sonmarg, the jump off point to various treks in Kashmir Sonmarg means 'Meadow of Gold' and during Spring the whole place is carpeted with flowers. First day's trek follows gently and then follows the narrow steep valley of the Nichinai Pass. From top of the Pass you get panoramic views of Baltoro Glacier and peak K2 in Karokorams. From Nichiani the trek follows to Vishansar Lake, Gadsar Lake and Gangabal Lake mirrors the impressive Peak haramukh - a sheer wall of black rock striated with strips of ice, rising in over 16,000 feet directly above the Lake. From Gangabal Lake the trail runs steeply through dense pine forests to Narangar. At Naranag there are Hindu and Buddhist temples which date from 9th Century. From here we drive back to Srinagar to spend last few days at the Houseboats. From Srinagar we fly out to Delhi.Day 01 : Meet in Delhi
