The term 'Cold Shrink' is applied t o materials, which are capable of shrinking without raising the material above the ambient temperature of it's immediate surroundings. The Cold Shrink Accessories are supplied in factory expanded conditions & placed on a removable core. The removing of core when they are positioned over cable cores cause the shrinking. As long as we pull out the plastic string from silicon rubber tube, the silicon rubber will be tightly shrunk on the needed position.
