Coco peat is known as coir dust which is made from coconut husks left over after the coconut flesh and water have been taken. Airpeat is our brand name for coco peat, which is used for soil-less cultivation. It is an environment friendly growing medium with multiuse features. Airpeat is an amazing alternative for those individuals who are worried about the environmental impact of peat bog harvesting and surprisingly, it works just as well, and maybe better. Moreover, it is a clean and instant soil-less medium which is 100% organic. 

Airpeat can last three times longer than peat, giving you more organic matter in your soil, for a longer time. It is superior in nutrient and water holding abilities.   It contains high percentage of lignin and cellulose. It holds 8-9 times its weight in water and comes with a balanced pH of 5.7-6.8.  In addition to that, it is an excellent hydroponics and it has good absorbency of water as well as it helps to keep nutrients and fertilizers being used in minimal amount. It is also resistant to bacterial and fungal growth which minimizes the risk of contamination.

Application: 

Airpeat can be used as seed starting mixes, bedding plants, soil mixes, garden container plants, bedding material for vermiculture pits etc. We make Airpeat in ready to use solid compressed rectangular and circular blocks with variable fiber size. 

Production:

We have our own “Airpeat” production unit at Nadia, West Bengal, India. Airpeat has been thoroughly tested and approved for Organic Agriculture.  Airpeat is hard to beat; we have used it extensively in potting and block production, and really enjoy working with it.  It produces better flavored vegetables and fruits as compared to conventionally cultivated produce. Airpeat comes in compressed bales or bricks.  They will fluff up to 4-5 times their size.  We provide Airpeat with different shapes and sizes varies from 650 gm to 5 kg blocks.
