The silicone rubber hoses have 3 or 4 ply reinforcements of aramid fiber (Nomex). The operating temperature ranges from -60C to +200C, although there are no problems with peak temperatures of +220C for short periods of time.
This high temperature, silicone rubber hoses are mainly used in applications which require resistance to higher peak temperatures, for e.g. Turbo-charging.
