Mr. Runu Bagchi (RB) after his 13 years of experience in multinational engineering company in various disciplines of management and 3 years of experience as lecturer and examiner of management in Kolkata University started Business Analyst Group (BAG). BAG started operating primarily as a management consultancy firm from April 1988. BAG is rendering various consultancy services to many small, medium and large scale industries all over India in general and eastern India in particular.

Among the various prestigious assignments of BAG/ RB some are: In 1988 RB was hired by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI), the then ICWAI, for a study to introduce a Costing System in Indian Navy, parallel to the Budgetary Control System. From 1990 to 1994 BAG was involved in designing the Inventory Control System for 28 stores with more than 30000 different inventory items of Haldia Port Trust, West Bengal after physically verifying the stock lying in the stores. After the study RB was invited by the Institute of Port Management, Kolkata to conduct workshop on materials management for the employees of materials management department of 11 major ports of India for 3 years.
