Additional Details

The relay receives the fault trip from the protection relay and triggers the automatic reclosing function. After tripping the circuit breaker (CB), the auto reclosing function may close the circuit breaker. Normally, the first reclosing (or shooting) is so short that the consumer can not notice anything. However, the fault is cleared and the charger continues in normal operation. Even though the basic principle of auto-reclosing is simple, there are many different timers and settings that need to be set.
