The R2300 Remote Ethernet Switch is a G.SHDSL based LAN Extender with a symmetrical transmission speed of 2.3 Mbps over a single pair copper wire. It uses state of the art TC-PAM line coding mechanism with Auto Rate Adaptive Features – no manual intervention is required, thus delivering optimal performance and a distinctive distance advantage over other SDSL LAN Extenders using 2B1Q line coding.

The R 2300 router can be used for a variety of applications, including LAN Extension, Video Conferencing, and E-Commerce. Configuring and monitoring can easily be accomplished from a Web browser. Full remote control capabilities simplify management at both the near end and the far end.

The R 2300 router has full routing capabilities to segment / route IP protocol and it is capable of bridging other protocols. It can also be configured in either server or client mode providing point-to-point connectivity between two sites. The Multi-NAT function provides and economic way for IP addresses sharing for both DSLAM and point-to-point applications.
