Some of the differences between stand alone models and power plant model are that working current of stand alone is 12 v dc where as for power plant it is 230 v ac. Operation for stand alone mode is affected on rainy days whereas for power plant model it is not. Light can not be increased in stand alone model but it is possible with power plant model. The area of application for this model is similar to stand alone models. The benefits offered by the system is also similar to stand alone model.
