We hold specialization in manufacturing copper and aluminum welding cables, which are in accordance with IS: 9857:1990. Earlier we used to provide our clients with IS: 434 certified VIR coverings, but presently, we are offering our clients with the following categories of IS: 9857-1990 certified welding cables: Cable with general purpose rubber compound covering (GPR) Cable with heat resistant, oil resistant, fire retardant compound covering (HOFR) The manufacturing process of these cables can broadly be classified into : (a) Conductor: Copper Conductor: We use supreme copper conductors which are in accordance with class 6 (Table 4) of IS: 8130. These copper wire conductors are annealed with tin and have high conductivity copper wires, which conform to IS:8130 Aluminum Conductor: Aluminum conductor comply with table 5 of IS:8130 and the wires composed in it are in compliance with IS: 8l30 (b) Separator: The separators that we use are of polyester tape or silicone coated dry paper. We make use of quality made separators, as these are used as a covering for conductors. (c) Covering: GPR/HOFR Our welding cables with general purpose rubber compound covering are in accordance with type SEI to IS : 6380, and the heat resistant, oil resistant, fire retardant (HOFR) compound comply with type SE 3 to IS :6380. As per these standards, the covering shall consist of one of the following that is applied over the conductor and separator: A layer of general purpose normal duty rubber compound A layer of heat resistant, oil resistant, and fire retardant (HOFR) compound covering normal duty
