Vibration isolation is a process of isolating an object like a piece of equipment from the source of vibrations. The source of vibration here could be a vibration motor of any kind like a pump, a generator or a motor driving a fan. The process leads to oscillations on the mounted system thus creating wear & tear on machinery as well as the mounted frame. Source of vibration also leads to noise generation source that needs to be taken care of to provide a noise free working environment.

Here choosing an optimized set of isolators becomes critical for reducing involved damages as well as to provide optimum isolation. Further, choosing a sub-standard set of isolators may also be more harmful than installing a system without an isolator.
