Introduction: Special Advantage As Super Plasticizer Aster Super Plasticizer (ASP) is a highly effective water-reducing compound and super-plasticizer for achieving accelerated hardening and free flowing concrete. It is a "High Range Water Reducing Concrete Admixture". Application: Aster Super Plasticizers(ASP) finds use to produce FREE flowing concrete in - Floor Slabs Foundations, Slender Components with packed reinforcements, Walls & Columns, Beams and Ceilings. ASP is also used as water-reducer for the manufacture of Pre-cast concrete elements Bridges and Cantilever Structures, Prestressed concrete structures, New Generation Designer Concrete Tiles. Special Advantage As Super Plasticlzer: ASP provides the following beneficial properties as a Super Plasticizer, Substantial improvement in workability without increase in water content or the risk of segregation. Normal set without retardation, even when over-dosed. Improved density and surface finish. Chloride-free does not attack reinforcement or prestressed cables. Special Advantage As Water — Reducer: ASP provides the following beneficial properties as a Water- Reducer: Up to 25% water reduction, increase in 28 day strength, High strength after 8 hours, Increased frost-resistance, Increased water-tightness, Early demoulding / deshuttering. Dosage & Dispensing: 3 % by weight of Cement. It is necessary to determine the exact dosage by trial mixes, since the variables like, Sand grading. WC ratio, Ambient temperature, the type of effect sought, Quality and Quantity of Cement etc. ASP can be added to the freshly mixed Concrete, and mixed further for at least one minute or it can be added to the mixing water prior to its addition to the aggregates.
