It adjusts itself to the misalignment (angular, parallel, skew) of the two shafts connected by it & transmits torque & motion from one shaft to the other. Features include one piece construction made of aluminium alloy or stainless steel material. Flange or set screw clamping. Offset adjustment upto 5 Deg. and parallel upto 0.2 No. backlash with constant velocity transmission. These flexible spiral coupling are widly used to couple tachogenerators, encoders etc.
