Low Frequency Current Seasoning Equipment is used to season the contacts of VI. This Set-up consists of the following,
1. Mains control2. Capacitor charging unit3. Capacitor Bank with series parallel arrangement4. Polarity Changeover arrangement5. Discharge Control Circuit6. Arc ON/OFF control7. Integrated Stand Alone Control with PC Interfacing.The Current Seasoning mode is pre-programmed with ON/OFF duration, polarity changeover and number of cycle.
NTPL was founded in the year 1975 by Prof. Manindra Nath Basu Ray, better known as Prof. M. N. Ray, eminent Applied Physicist, after he retired from the Department of Applied Physics, Calcutta University.
