For extraction, a clamp system is used that rigidly connects the pile head and the hammer housing. Line pull of the crane is transferred to the pile through the clamp. Frictional resistance is reduced by high frequency operation of the hammer with extremely low energy per blow. This enables extraction of the pile at crane loads and significantly lowers the conventional static pulling.
