Adjusting shaft is used in the ship building industry. It is used in the rocker arm assembly for anchoring of the vessel. The raw material used and the workmanship involved is of very high repute because of the critical application of the part. This precision turned component is made from SS316L/1.4404 grade of stainless steel. Manufacturing is done on CNC turn mill centre. The surface finish requirements are very high and the dimensions to be maintained are in a very close tolerance bandwidth. These are achieved by setting the manufacturing processes. Final Inspections are done on Co-ordinate measuring machine (CMM).
