Working:

This class of gears is used to reduce the effort made in rotating large gears as worm gears are solely capable in reducing the rotational speed of the motor and helps in achieving a higher torque. Teeth of worm gears are attached and its grooves are fitted with each groove on the other gear, in such a way that it is not get reversed. As the gear rotates, the shafts move by one tooth of the gear. Worm gears can be quickly moulded to design. They are more compact in comparison to other gears so that they can serve efficiently in the operation.Worm reduction gears are designed as well as developed on proper gear machines, using the best cutters and machines.
