These either belong to 6 x 19 class or 6 x 37 class, depending upon the usage need, application and characteristics of the respective sling. If resistance to abrasion is the required then 6 x 19 class is chosen since wires of large diameter provide a high degree of wear resistance. However, if flexibility is the prime concern then 6 x 37 class is preferred because of the large number of smaller wires in the rope.
